Terms of Business

Pricing & Quotations

All Sarsfield Brooke quotations are valad for 30 days from time of issue. Prices include all shipping, customs and duty taxes to New Zealand, and GST as indicated.

All quotations are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).


Design Modifications

Where modifications to a product are possible, confirmation of modifications must be applied in writing by the purchaser. Modifications must then be agreed in writing by Sarsfield Brooke, after receiving written confirmation from the manufacturer. Additional lead time and surcharge will apply.


Order Confirmation

An order confirmation will be forwarded to you in acknowledgement of receipt of your order. The order confirmation supersedes all prior correspondence in relation to your order. We will proceed with your order, as per your order confirmation, unless we receive written notification to the contrary with 24 hours.


Upholstery – Fabric and Leather Supply

Sarsfield Brooke and their manufacturers prefer to supply all fabrics and leathers. Customers can supply their own fabrics, however, Sarsfield Brooke reserves the right to reject fabrics and leathers deemed unsuitable for upholstery on our manufacturers designs. All fabrics supplied by you (the client) will not be covered under Sarsfield Brooke’s warrenty agreement.


Lead Times

Current lead time estimates will be provided at time of order.
Every effort will be made to achieve target delivery dates, any delays are out of Sarsfield Brooke’s control and therefore do not constitute a breach of contract. Sarsfield Brooke is in no way liable for any resulting issues caused by delayed orders.


Payment

Sarsfield Brooke’s standard payment terms are 50% deposit on confirmation of order (between Sarsfield Brooke and you, the customer). This deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due to be paid in full prior to delivery or release of the goods. Goods remain the property of Sarsfield Brooke until full payment has been received. Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer.


Delivery

Within the greater Auckland area Sarsfield Brooke runs its own vans and delivery personelle as part of our ongoing service and commitment  to our customers. Delivery times will be arranged with you once goods are ready for despatch. Please provide Sarsfield Brooke with full written details of any difficult to access areas eg. stairs, delivery dock, lifts. We reserve the right to charge additional costs for unusually difficult access or deliveries outside of the greater Auckland area. Large orders will be delivered by a 3rd party carrier . Inspection terms still apply.

If you are unable to accept delivery within 7 days from our first call following the completion of your order, the invoice must be paid in full. In addition, at the descretion of Sarsfield Brooke Ltd storage for goods may be arranged and a storage fee (per week) is payable based on the quantity of goods stored.


Inspection

Inspection of products is required on delivery.
Any damage must be noted in the presence of Sarsfield Brooke delivery personelle and in writing on the delivery docket presented to you for signature. Notification to the office is required within 24 hours.


Returns

Please choose carefully, it is Sarsfield Brooke’s policy to not give refunds on commercial orders for change your mind or wrong decisions on the customers part.


Commercial Warranty

All goods sold by Sarsfield Brooke Ltd for commercial use will carry a 2-year workmanship & materials warranty.
